Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates within one of our fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. You will mentor and develop your team, ensure safety and performance, and participate in extensive training to become a strong people leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates
• Motivate and develop team to meet goals
• Ensure safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards
• Coordinate shift coverage including nights, weekends and holidays
• Oversee deliveries, sort packages, operate PIT equipment where applicable
• Maintain a fast-paced, on-production floor environment
• Engage in on-going coaching and feedback with hourly staff
