Job summary

Cedar Point in Ohio seeks an Area Manager - Food and Beverage to lead daily F&B operations, supervise staff, and ensure health and safety standards are met. You will help set training, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cost controls while collaborating with other departments to support park-wide initiatives.

The role emphasizes P&L oversight, audit readiness, and the development of a strong guest-service culture across multiple locations, with a focus on continuous improvement and leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in food and beverage management or equivalent supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred; ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff, train, and develop restaurant supervisors and hourly staff.
• Ensure all associates hold Serv Safe Alcohol certification for responsible service.
• Oversee F&B locations and manage P&L, COGS, labor, and other costs to hit budget goals.
• Support development and execution of the restaurants’ business plans with the Director of Food & Beverage.
• Pass and address inspections/audits by Ohio Dept. of Health, Ecosure, brand standards, etc.
