Job summary

Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH is seeking an Area Manager for Food & Beverage to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure health and safety compliance. You’ll help set training agendas, manage purchasing, budgeting, staffing, inventory, and cost controls while collaborating with other departments to support park-wide initiatives.

The role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and requires ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years in food and beverage management; 4 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred. Valid ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff, train, and develop restaurant supervisors and hourly associates through orientations and reviews.
• Ensure all associates are ServSafe Alcohol certified for responsible service of alcohol.
• Oversee F&B locations to align with Cedar Point standards; manage P&L to optimize profit and control costs.
• Lead inspections and audits by Ohio Department of Health, Ecosure, and brand standards.
• Order and inventory control to ensure quality production and guest service.
