Cedar Point in Norwalk, OH is seeking an Area Manager - Food and Beverage to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure health and safety compliance. The role sets training agendas, budgets, and cost controls, partnering with the Food & Beverage Director to meet park-wide goals.

The position requires 2–4 years in F&B management with supervisory experience, plus ServSafe certifications and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years in food and beverage management; 4 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred.
• Valid ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check and drug screening per company policy.

Responsabilités

• Staff, train, and develop supervisors and hourly staff through orientations and feedback.
• Ensure ServSafe Alcohol certification for responsible service of alcohol.
• Oversee operations in F&B locations per Cedar Point standards.
• Manage F&B locations with P&L, COGS, labor, and controllable costs to meet goals.
• Assist in developing and achieving the restaurants’ business plan with the Director.
• Pass and correct inspections by outside bodies and audits.
• Order and control inventory to serve quality products to guests.
• Ensure top guest service with monthly front- and back-of-house training.
• Initiate corrective actions and ensure accurate reporting.
