Job summary

Cedar Point is seeking an Area Manager - Food and Beverage to lead daily operations across multiple restaurant locations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

You will set training agendas, manage purchasing and budgeting, control COGS and labor costs, and work with the Director of Food & Beverage to achieve the park's business plan. Excellent leadership and ServSafe credentials are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in food and beverage management; 4 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred. Valid ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff, train, develop restaurant supervisors and hourly associates through orientations, ongoing feedback, and reviews.
• Ensure associates are certified in Serv Safe Alcohol for responsible service to guests.
• Oversee F&B locations and P&L to optimize profit and control costs.
• Develop and achieve the restaurant's business plan with the Director of Food & Beverage.
• Pass and/or correct any inspections and audits by Ohio Dept. of Health and other entities.
• Manage inventory and ordering to produce a quality product.
• Ensure highest level of guest service with monthly training for staff.
• Initiate corrective actions and report accurately.
