Walmart Transportation is seeking an Area Manager, Fleet Safety to lead fleet safety initiatives and coach drivers in Texas. You will ensure DOT compliance and support transportation offices with safety expertise.

You will develop safety protocols, analyze data to uncover root causes, and create dashboards for stakeholders while guiding training programs and technology-driven safety improvements. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in occupational safety management, environmental science, traffic safety, transit safety, or related area and 2 years' experience in safety within supply chain, retail, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in traffic safety within supply chain, retail, or related area.
• 2 years' experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., TPM) within supply chain or transportation maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Walmart transportation offices in fleet safety operations.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Provide driver training and coaching to enhance performance and safety.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
• Leverage data to identify root causes of safety issues and apply solutions.
• Utilize data visualization tools to create informative safety dashboards for stakeholders.
