Job summary

Trs Staffing Solutions, Inc. in Dublin, VA is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance organization and advance safety, reliability, and efficiency across the manufacturing facility.

You will partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to align day-to-day operations with the long-term business objectives. You will drive VPS adoption, develop the team, manage maintenance projects and capital investments, and build a sustainable roadmap that balances immediate needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, or 8 years combined education and supervisory/management experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maintenance organization to meet safety, quality, delivery, and KPI targets.
• Develop and coach maintenance team members to improve performance.
• Drive VPS implementation with standardized processes.
• Ensure maintenance strategies support equipment reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety to achieve plant objectives.
• Oversee maintenance projects, equipment improvements, and renovations.
• Support workforce planning and succession within Maintenance.
• Develop a long-term maintenance roadmap aligning with plant strategy.
• Foster safety culture, collaboration, and accountability.
• Build relationships with employees and stakeholders.
• Monitor trends and performance data to identify improvements.
