Job summary

7-Eleven seeks an Area Leader Trainee to oversee 12–14 store locations, train staff to deliver exceptional customer service, and drive store operations. The role is a path to a key operations position with significant growth potential and a company vehicle upon appointment to a district.

The program lasts about 12 months, with benefits including retirement plans, PTO, and comprehensive insurance offerings. Prior multi‑unit management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail.
• Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance.
• Ability to multi-task, stand for long periods and manage multiple stores concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders.
• Implement merchandising programs, manage cash and inventory, and promote customer service excellence.
• Focus on profit and loss management including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses.
