Job summary

Ross Stores in Oshkosh, WI is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and support daily operations, including opening/closing, coaching Associates, and maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You will ensure proper merchandise presentation, safety, loss prevention, and adherence to company standards while coordinating backroom and stockroom tasks and assisting in front-end efficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and supervise Associates on assigned area.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and merchandised sales floor consistent with company standards.
• Lead front-end operations and ensure adherence to cash handling and POS procedures.
• Support loss prevention and safety programs and model Ross Leadership values.
• Coordinate stockroom, receiving, and merchandising tasks to optimize sales.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
