Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our store leadership team. The role oversees a specific area, opens/closes the store, supervises Associates, and ensures a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with compliant operations.

You will drive merchandise presentation, stockroom organization, and front-end efficiency while upholding Ross’s standards and customer service expectations.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates when on duty.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-merchandised store environment.
• Lead front-end operations, cashier training, and line management.
• Manage stockrooms, receiving, and back stock processes.
• Support loss prevention and ensure policies are followed.
• Payroll and administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
