Job summary

The Bechtel Corporation in New Albany, Ohio is seeking an Area Lead Instrumentation Superintendent to lead direct-hire instrumentation construction on a major project. You will translate the schedule into field plans, manage look-ahead and 90-day plans, and align labor, materials, and commissioning activities with milestones.

You'll supervise instrument craftsmen and coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement and Startup teams to ensure safe, timely, quality installation and turnover.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supervising direct-hire instrumentation construction on large projects.
• Ability to lead multiple craft teams and coordinate with engineering and planning.

Responsibilities

• Provides field leadership for instrumentation construction and safety, quality, productivity.
• Develops and maintains 3‑week look‑ahead and 90‑day execution plans.
• Manages staffing, materials, and access to align with plans and milestones.
• Coordinates with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Startup/Commissioning and subcontractors.
