Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in San Antonio seeks an Area Group Reservations Coordinator to manage group bookings and inventory as part of convention services. You will work with Event Planning Managers and a team across Front Desk, Sales, Events and Housekeeping to ensure accurate group blocks and smooth pre-arrival processes.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in hotel reservations and Hyatt systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and Hyatt systems (Reserve/Opera).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent time management and follow-up abilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of rooms inventory management.
• Minimum of 1 year of hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Event Planning Managers on group details including rooming list updates and inventory management.
• Prepare and update group pickup reports.
• Process new group bookings and addendums with accurate contract setup.
• Manage airline manifests and rooming lists.
• Serve as a primary contact for guests and event planners via phone and email.
• Accurately process reservations and updates in the system with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Sales, Events and Housekeeping for a seamless pre-arrival experience.
