HomeServe USA Corp. in New York is seeking an Area General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, guide staff, and drive growth in a fast-paced HVAC market.

You will manage Comfort Advisors, office staff, and service technicians while ensuring service delivery, KPI targets, and profitability. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 4–6 years of general management experience, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4-6 years general management experience managing a service delivery organization.
• Experience with leading a union workforce preferred.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well organized, detail oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to District personnel focused on customer satisfaction, growing the policy base and meeting overall revenue and profit growth goals.
• Manage essential operational support functions including Inventory Management, Fleet Management, and Safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with company’s policies.
• Develop and maintains a culture of performance management and accountability.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to build and maintain a high performing team through recruiting, training, coaching and development activities.
• Proven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operations initiatives with a results-oriented approach.
• Ability to formulate and implement a sound business plan to reach targeted service delivery, revenue and net profit goals.
• Experience with budget preparation and fiscal management.
• Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.
