Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking an experienced Area Manager to direct the dietary operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the assigned geographic region. You will lead dining programs, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and coach district managers to deliver high-quality meals and service.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience; at least two years in long term care preferred.
• CDM/CFPP certification awareness or credential.
• General business acumen.
• Public speaking skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Coach managers and provide feedback on performance and development.
• Lead dining programs to enhance residents' meal experience.
• Ensure dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards.
• Maintain sanitary, safe, and clean food service operations.
• Forecast and purchase supplies and equipment.
• Hire and orient Food Services Directors and Supervisors.
• Maintain staffing levels and survey readiness across facilities.
• Participate in facility meetings and coordinate with other departments.
