Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality from an accredited institution.
• Food service supervisory experience required; at least two years experience in long term care preferred.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers, National Restaurant Association; CDM/CFPP credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire and orient dietary staff.
• Train workers in procedures and operation of equipment.
• Supervise and coordinate dietary department functions and activities.
• Maintain staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Ensure department is survey-ready and compliant with regulations.
• Promote resident satisfaction and quality assurance in dining services.
