Bechtel Corporation in Brownsville, TX is seeking an experienced Area Field Engineer to manage field engineering activities for earthworks, marine work, piling, and related infrastructure elements.

The role requires 13–19 years of civil construction experience, strong supervisory skills, and a solid background in drainage and open-cut projects. You will coordinate with design, procurement, and startup teams on multi-phase scope and safety compliance.

Competenze

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree and 13–15 years of relevant experience or 17–19 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of structural construction operations, surveying, excavation, backfill, piling and marine works.
• Knowledge of drainage on infrastructure projects, open-cut excavation and trenching.
• Strong supervisory functions and cost management experience.
• Commitment to ES&H and a Zero Accident safety program.

Mansioni

• Performs duties of Area Field Engineer, coordinating activities in assigned section.
• Guides construction engineers and liaises with design on constructability issues.
• Reviews material receiving and warehousing to ensure correct materials.
• Oversees quantity take-off, reporting and forecast development.
• Ensures safety and quality requirements are implemented in the area.
