Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality’s Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown is seeking an Area Food & Beverage Director to lead operations across a portfolio of hotels, driving financial performance and elevating guest experiences while upholding brand and safety standards. The role requires strategic leadership, frequent travel among properties, and the development of high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience in hospitality or a related field; an associate’s, bachelor’s, or culinary degree is preferred.
• Multi-property, area, task force, or portfolio-level food and beverage experience is preferred.
• Extensive management experience in restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, room service, and kitchen operations.
• Required certifications include Food Handler, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid, as applicable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, labor management, financial analysis, food safety, and hospitality industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio leadership: Provide strategic direction and operational support for food and beverage operations across assigned hotels, partnering with property leaders to ensure consistent execution and alignment with standards.
• Culinary & service excellence: Oversee the quality, presentation, and delivery of food and beverage offerings across restaurants, bars, banquets, catering, room service, and culinary operations.
• Financial performance: Guide budgeting, forecasting, pricing, labor management, cost controls, and revenue strategies to improve financial performance.
• Menu & concept development: Partner with hotel and culinary leaders to develop menus, banquet offerings, service concepts, and programming.
• Operational standards: Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, brand, and company requirements while improving efficiency and reducing waste.
• Leadership & team development: Coach and develop hotel F&B leaders, strengthen accountability, and support recruitment and retention.
• Collaboration & communication: Build relationships with leadership, ownership, corporate partners, and vendors; communicate performance and priorities.
• Portfolio support & travel: Travel among hotels to assess operations and support transitions or projects.
