Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a dynamic Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to manage 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong operational execution across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive revenue and performance, and ensure readiness for seasonal demand through staffing, facilities, and compliance. This is a hands-on, travel‑driven leadership role focusing on client outcomes and business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Ability to drive business results while managing day-to-day operations.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Independent judgment to prioritize across locations.
• Experience in facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work varied hours.
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds as part of office readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, including facilities, equipment, and onboarding.
