Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices and ensure a high-quality client experience across locations. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership onsite to deliver strong business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to drive business and financial results.
• Experience managing facilities, staffing, and compliance.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and feedback to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns and address performance gaps across offices.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, supplies, and onboarding.
