Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality client experience and strong operational execution across locations.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, monitor performance, manage staffing and facilities, and drive growth while maintaining compliance. Occasional travel between offices and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset and consultative service experience.
• Proven leadership ability and accountability across locations.
• Capable of driving business/financial results and labor management.
• Experience leading through change and process adoption.
• Ability to prioritize across multiple locations with independent judgment.
• Experience in facilities, staffing, or compliance management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with client escalations.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actions.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of a consistent client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact; use insights to improve performance.
• Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and client-centric leadership in offices.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, setting clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors, feedback, and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across assigned offices.
• Monitor metrics, trends, and actions to improve business results, client acquisition and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, labor management, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, supplies, and onboarding; prepare for seasonal demand.
