Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and operational excellence. You will lead and develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching teams to anticipate client needs and deliver expert guidance across all offices.

This role requires hands-on leadership, accountability for performance, and travel to multiple locations to maintain alignment and strong execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail/service/operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and drive performance across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices, with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to close gaps and improve results.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to consistent performance.
• Own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations across offices.
• Travel frequently to maintain in-person presence across locations and align priorities.
