Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across all locations. You will set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, and business results while developing Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.

This hands-on leader will balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, drive office readiness, staffing, and compliance, and influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record leading multi-unit teams and driving performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Ability to adapt to change and adopt new processes across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client-experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance data.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and build bench strength across offices.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to improve results.
