Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to manage 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience. You’ll lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching teams to anticipate client needs and achieve strong business results.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations across offices are ready to serve clients effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact; use insights to improve the experience.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals; set expectations and coach performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results and retention.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, compliance, SOPs, and daily operations.
• Prepare for seasonal demand and workforce readiness.
