Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, lead staffing and operations, and drive client outcomes and business results through hands-on leadership and disciplined execution. This role requires travel between offices and occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi‑unit retail or service settings with accountability for performance.
• Strong client‑centric mindset and consultative service delivery.
• Proven ability to coach and develop high‑performing teams.
• Experience managing operations across multiple locations, including staffing and scheduling.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Provide coaching to strengthen team execution and address gaps.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive actions to improve results.
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and readiness.
