Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned leader to guide federally funded housing programs. You will oversee a multi-million-dollar HUD grant portfolio, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and supervise diverse teams across departments to maximize community impact.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of HUD rules, strong budgeting and procurement skills, and the ability to build strategic partnerships for new funding opportunities. A senior background in housing administration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields or equivalent.
• Minimum seven years of relevant HUD and team management experience.
• Option B allows a high school degree with substantial relevant experience.
• Minimum eleven years of relevant experience administering HUD programs, or a combination of relevant HUD and team management experience.
• Experience managing a federal grant portfolio of at least $2 million.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of federal housing regulations, grant administration, compliance, procurement, and financial management.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• HQS Certification, NSPIRE Certification, Lead Inspector Certification, Risk Assessor Certification preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, reliable personal vehicle and at least the state minimum personal liability auto insurance coverage.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
