Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an Area Director - DD/IDD Services to oversee all programs in the assigned region, providing leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to deliver high‑quality services for individuals with disabilities while expanding business opportunities.

You will manage budgets, staffing, licensure, policy development, marketing, and proposals, collaborating with directors and state management to ensure excellence and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 2+ years of supervisory (mid-to-upper management) experience.
• 5 years of experience in residential programs or services for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage program directors and support staff, fostering teamwork and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee financial performance, budgets, and accounts receivable while anticipating and addressing fiscal challenges.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and contract requirements.
• Supervise program development, staff training, and the implementation of support plans for individuals served.
• Expand and develop new and existing business units within the assigned area.
• Represent Dungarvin in local, state, and regional workgroups, committees, and partnerships.
• Assess organizational risk and implement risk management protocols to protect the company and those we serve.
• Respond to customer and employee concerns, providing guidance and support to resolve issues promptly.
