Church areas. The position reports to the Director for Temporal Affairs and requires strong leadership, planning, and relationship-building with government, interfaith, and community leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, public relations, or related field.
• 7 years of professional-level experience.
• A total 11 years may be considered with education/experience mix.
• Proven track record of effective people management with at least 3 years in management.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational development skills.
• Experience in developing, designing, and executing strategic communication plans.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas plainly to leadership and teams.
• Experience managing organizational brand, reputation, and media relations.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Experience in crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Increase understanding of the Church among audiences through unified communication efforts across the area.
• Manage organizational identity and reputation aligned with area efforts.
• Develop internal and external campaigns.
• Build and lead strategic relationships with key opinion leaders across the area.
