Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group is seeking an Area Coach to lead and develop a portfolio of Taco Bell restaurants. You will supervise 4 to 10 RGMs, ensure the restaurants meet annual operating plans, and travel daily between stores.

This role emphasizes coaching, hiring, and development of managerial staff, driving customer satisfaction and financial performance, resolving issues quickly, and building strong teams through hands-on leadership and active field visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of successful, multi-unit management experience.
• Proven ability to coach and develop managerial staff.
• Track record of high customer satisfaction and strong financial performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional team-building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and analytical decision making.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop RGMs, Assistant GMs, and Shift Managers.
• Coach RGMs on the “4 Rights” in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Lead product and program rollouts with RGMs to ensure success.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations.
• Analyze the financial performance of your area and understand trends.
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers, employees and customers.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily
