Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group seeks an Area Coach to lead 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants, ensuring achievement of annual operating plans and strong customer satisfaction. You will recruit and develop Restaurant General Managers, guide store leadership on core operating principles, and drive program rollouts and continuous improvement across stores.

The role requires travel between designated stores, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record in multi-unit management, with a focus on team

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Proven track record coaching and developing managerial employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to analyze financial performance and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants to meet/exceed annual operating plans.
• Find, hire and develop RGMs, ASMs and Shift Managers.
• Coach RGMs on the 4 Rights and provide regular feedback in 1:1s.
• Take initiative, exceed requirements, and maintain high activity levels.
• Analyze store performance and customer feedback to drive improvements.
• Lead product/program rollouts and ensure successful execution.
• Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining positive relations.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• People Role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the “4 Rights” in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.
• Resolve Customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive Customer relations.
• Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers, employees and customers.
• Analyze the financial performance of your area and understand trends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily
