Job summary

NANA Worley, LLC is seeking a Rotational Start-up Engineer to provide field support across Operations, Maintenance, Design, and Construction from pre-IFA through turnover. The role is based on North Slope Alaska with a 12-hour shift and a 2-week rotational schedule, reporting to the Facility Engineer Supervisor in Anchorage, and involves close coordination with the Projects team.

The position requires a Engineering degree with oil and gas experience, P&ID familiarity, and ability to work in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years oil and gas experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in North Slope Alaska preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs and perform walk downs.
• Familiarity with North Slope Alaska facilities and Arctic environments.

Responsibilities

• Walk down P&IDs to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead project walk downs and sign-off for mechanical completions.
• Prepare commissioning, startup, and turnover forms.
• Provide engineering support and constructability feedback to Operations.
• Track RFIs and inform design changes to Operations.
• Assist procurement to identify vendor support and spares.
• Create and manage MOCs for operation phases and assign tasks.
• Audit PHAs and PPRs before equipment startup.
• Develop commissioning and startup plans and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure turnover documentation flow is complete.
