Job summary

Worley Group, Inc is seeking Journeyman Electricians for a remote/rotational Arctic project with a 1-year duration. The role involves maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems on site in a harsh Arctic environment from October/November 2026 onward.

Expected schedule is 84 hours per week with meals and lodging provided on location, plus transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay.wehr

Qualifications

  • Four (4) years of field experience through an accredited apprenticeship program, or an associate degree in electrical technology may be substituted.
  • Current Alaska State Fitness Certificate as a Journeyman Electrician
  • Employee will provide own tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to be covered by Worley's auto insurer.
  • NSTC certification training if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand wiring schematics, design drawings, and specifications.
  • Set and secure electrical distribution equipment including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, power panels and J-boxes.
  • Install power, control and instrumentation circuits ranging from 24V DC up to 13.8KV.
  • Install and terminate wiring.
  • Test and troubleshoot circuits and devices.
  • Mentor apprentices to develop competent future journeymen and safety culture.
  • Participate in Toolbox meetings.
