Job summary

Worley is seeking a Heavy-Duty Field Oiler for a remote/rotational assignment based in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and 44 hours at time and a half).

All meals and lodging are provided on location, and transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is arranged by Worley. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance of heavy and non-mobile equipment, oil and lubricant management, inspections, documenting maintenance, coordinating repairs

Qualifications

• Two years as a mechanic or oiler in heavy construction or a preventive maintenance shop.
• Class A CDL.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid driver's license and the ability to be covered by Worley's auto insurer.
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy and non-mobile equipment and/or light duty vehicles.
• Check and maintain oils, greases, and other lubricants in equipment and vehicles as per procedures.
• Inspect belts, hoses, and leaks.
• Document maintenance activities.
• Coordinate repairs with shop foreman and perform minor repairs/adjustments.
• Routinely operate Worley/client vehicles/equipment.
• Safely climb ladders of various heights.
