Job summary

Worley is seeking Heavy Duty Field Oilers for remote rotational Base Shops in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. You will perform preventive maintenance, oiling and lubricating heavy equipment under Arctic conditions.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience as a mechanic or oiler in heavy construction or maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, NSTC certification, and a valid driver's license. Worley provides meals, lodging, and a rotating schedule with extended hours.

Qualifications

• Two years as a mechanic or oiler in heavy construction or preventive maintenance shop.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be covered by Worley’s auto insurer.
• High school diploma or GED.
• NSTC certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in Arctic conditions and read safety/technical manuals.

Responsibilities

This role involves performing preventive maintenance, oiling, and lubricating heavy equipment in challenging Arctic conditions. Ideal candidates are experienced in heavy equipment maintenance and thrive in remote, team-oriented environments.

What You’ll Need

• Two (2) years as a mechanic or oiler in heavy construction or a preventive maintenance shop
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be covered by Worley’s auto insurer
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) certification (Worley can provide training if needed)
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crawl, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs in harsh Arctic conditions
• Ability to drive for prolonged periods in inclement weather
• Ability to wear and utilize fall protection
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand job descriptions, safety/technical manuals, and safety/warning signs
