Job summary

ConocoPhillips in Alaska seeks a North Slope Chief Pilot to lead turboprop flight operations from Alpine, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliable transport for passengers and freight.

The role supervises pilots, develops training, manages budgets, and collaborates with North Slope management to meet business needs; requires FAA ATP, First Class Medical, PIC hours, and Arctic-operation experience.

Qualifications

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with airplane multi-engine land rating.
• Current/valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate and FCC Radio Permit.
• 3500 hours total flight time; 2000 hours PIC in multi-engine airplanes; 500 hours in airplanes of similar complexity (turbine).

Responsibilities

• Lead North Slope-based turboprop flight operations to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee scheduling and assignment of North Slope pilots in accordance with labor laws and company policies.
• Develop and administer North Slope pilot training programs (indoctrination, initial/recurrent, specialty).
• Manage aviation surveillance program and report metrics weekly to the organization.
• Coordinate with Alaska Management, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure airworthiness and operational efficiency.
