Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a North Slope Chief Pilot based at the Alpine facility in Alaska. The role leads North Slope turboprop flight operations, supervising pilots, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliable transport for passengers and freight.

The position requires a top-tier ATP certificate with multi-engine rating, 5+ years in aviation leadership, and the ability to work a 1 week on/1 week off schedule in remote Arctic conditions. Strong training and budgeting skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in the United States.
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with multi-engine rating.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• 5+ years of aviation industry experience.
• 3500 hours total flight time.
• 2000 hours PIC in multi-engine airplanes.
• 500 hours in airplanes of similar complexity (turbine).

Responsibilities

• Oversee North Slope turboprop flight operations for safety and compliance.
• Supervise and manage North Slope-based pilots.
• Coordinate with AK Aviation management for operations and training.
• Develop and monitor flight operation metrics and budgets.
• Ensure proper PPE and safety procedures are followed.
