Job summary

Huitt-Zollars in Orlando is seeking an Architectural Staff I to support design and construction document production. You will collaborate with architects and designers on commercial, hospitality, master planning projects, using Revit, Rhino, and related tools.

The role requires a bachelor’s in architecture, NCARB track, and at least two years of experience, with growth potential. Responsibilities include preparing design documents, coordinating with consultants, assisting in contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a NCARB-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience.
• Enrolled in NCARB AXP and pursuing licensure.
• Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite; strong design documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepares project designs and construction documents using Revit.
• Prepares sketches, meeting notes, specifications, and agency applications.
• Work on several projects simultaneously at various development stages.
• Visit project sites and document findings as directed.
• Research materials, assemblies, and codes for design integration.
• Integrate information from consultants into Revit models.
• Assist with contract administration: submittals, RFIs, routing information.
• Attend and distribute meeting notes; assist with project correspondence.
• Assist with preparing graphic materials for presentations.
• Assist with material finishes displays and boards.
• Travel to construction sites and client meetings as needed.
