Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. in Orlando seeks an Architectural Staff I to support design and construction document production using Revit, collaborating with architects, designers, and engineers.

The role involves preparing drawings, specifications, and agency submissions while supporting contract administration tasks and site visits. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Architecture (Master’s preferred), is enrolled in NCARB AXP, and has at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s preferred
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Enrolled in NCARB AXP and pursuing licensure
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Lumion, Microsoft Office; Bluebeam a plus
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written)
• Experience with multiple project assignments
• Experience in producing design documentation a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepares project designs and construction documents using Revit
• Prepares sketches, meeting notes, specifications, agency applications, etc.
• Handle multiple projects at different development stages
• Visit project sites and assist with documentation
• Research materials and building codes for designs
• Coordinate with consultants and integrate info into Revit models
• Assist with construction contract administration tasks
• Prepare presentation graphics and material finishes displays
• Occasional travel to sites and client meetings
