Job summary

Huitt-Zollars seeks an experienced Interior Architectural Designer at Architect II level for Orlando and Los Angeles offices. You will lead interior design-focused work with project teams, advancing concept development, documentation, and client collaboration on themed entertainment, hospitality and commercial projects.

The role emphasizes growth, leadership, and contributing to a positive office culture across locations. Required Florida registration or reciprocity and NAAB-accredited education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in interior architecture, interior design, or architecture from a NAAB accredited program.
• Licensed Architect or Registered Interior Designer in Florida, or eligible for reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual design through construction documentation with senior input.
• Develop design concepts, programming, space planning, and detailing.
• Ensure design continuity across phases within budgets, codes, and client expectations.
• Present design ideas clearly to clients, teams, and stakeholders.
• Supervise day-to-day design activities across disciplines and offices.
• Review and produce high-quality documents, renderings, and specifications.
• Support site visits, submittal reviews, and construction phase activities.
