Job summary

Huitt-Zollars is seeking an Architectural Staff II for our Orlando office. The role supports architects, PMs, and designers in producing design, presentation, and construction drawings for commercial projects including entertainment, hospitality, and master planning.

The candidate should have 4+ years of experience, be versed in Revit, and pursue licensure. The position offers full-time work in Orlando, with growth opportunities within a growing, employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; Master’s in Architecture preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of related experience in commercial projects.
• Must be engaged in AXP and actively pursuing licensure.

Responsibilities

• Simultaneous work on a minimum of 2-3 projects at various stages of development.
• Prepares project designs and construction documents using BIM software and equipment.
• Prepares various documents during the course of the project development including meeting minutes, project specifications, agency applications, etc.
• Visit project sites under the direction of a supervisor and assist with the documentation of findings.
• Integrate information from consultants and suppliers into Revit Models for documentation.
• Assist in the processing of contractor submittals and RFIs by logging in the documents and routing them to the appropriate party for review.
