Rugby Architectural Building Products is seeking a Specification Representative to promote and sell our products to architects, designers, and contractors. You will manage product specifications, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored solutions across the A&D community.

The role requires travel, hybrid work with a local branch, and a company car. A background in architecture or design and proven sales/specification development experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or experience in architecture, interior design, construction management, or related fields.
• Proven experience in sales or specification development within related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
• This role is a Safety Sensitive position and subject to routine drug screenings.

Responsabilités

• Promote and sell our products to architects, designers, contractors, and other industry professionals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to generate product specifications and drive sales growth.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and specifiers to identify project requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Create and deliver presentations and technical demonstrations to educate customers about features and applications.
• Prepare and submit accurate and detailed product specifications for project plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits, attend industry trade shows, and participate in networking events to expand the customer base.
• Conduct market research, stay up-to-date with industry trends related to non-structural architectural lumber.
• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to identify opportunities for product improvement or expansion.
