Job summary

Landscape Site Furnishings & Rooftop Systems is seeking a technical, consultative Architectural Sales Engineer to drive specification sales and manage projects from design through award. This role collaborates with architects, engineers, and contractors to get systems specified as basis of design on high-profile projects nationwide.

You’ll review drawings, perform take-offs, and develop custom solutions while applying knowledge of building codes, wind loads, and attachment methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in architectural/construction product sales.
• Experience winning spec-driven projects.
• Strong ability to read architectural & structural drawings.
• Knowledge of building codes, load-bearing systems, or structural products.

Responsibilities

• Drive product specifications with architects & landscape architects.
• Review drawings, perform take-offs, and develop custom system solutions.
• Provide technical expertise on structural attachment, wind loads, and performance.
• Manage projects through design → bid → award (12–24 month cycles).
• Build relationships across architects, GCs, and subcontractors.
• Track pipeline and opportunities in CRM (NetSuite).
