Job summary

Marvin seeks an Architectural Project Manager to grow sales and build brand awareness among architectural and commercial design professionals. You will develop new business, present educational units to firms, and coordinate tours and product solutions across the territory.

Ideal candidates hold an architectural/construction/business degree or CDT, have consultative sales experience with premium products, and can travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Degree in architectural, construction, or business-related field or equivalent industry experience.
• CDT certification, or can obtain within two years of employment.
• Proven experience in consultative value proposition sales to architectural/design firms.
• Fenestration experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Ability to navigate CAD-based design.
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, identify, and establish relationships with architectural community to lead to specification and purchase of Marvin products.
• Effectively present AIA Continuing Educational units to architectural firms.
• Pursue business development with facility managers and owners of institutional properties.
• Plan and host factory tours with targeted architects, designers, channel partners, and trade customers.
• Provide product and technical solutions on project opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional sales to develop channel partner programs and services for architectural and commercial segments.
• Travel throughout the territory as needed; valid driver’s license required.
