Job summary

Westport One is seeking an Architectural Project Manager for luxury development projects across the Southeast. The role focuses on bridging design, development, and construction to realize world-class communities.

You will lead design and pre-construction workstreams, select and direct top architectural and engineering consultants, and ensure constructability while maintaining design intent within budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in an architectural firm or owner-side development on large-scale projects.
• Bachelor of Architecture or related degree; licensed architect preferred.
• Ability to see the big picture and navigate entitlements.
• Hybrid schedule and leadership in a nimble team.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and pre-construction workstreams from concept through construction documents.
• Direct external architectural and engineering consultants.
• Review SD, DD, CD design phases for constructability and budget alignment.

Architectural Project Manager - Luxury Development

I am partnering with a premier development firm bringing massive, $400M+ luxury, concrete-infrastructure assets to life across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. They don't build run-of-the-mill properties...they craft world-class, multi-generational communities that redefine high-end living.

With three landmark projects breaking ground right now, they need a sharp Architectural Project Manager to own the intersection of design, development, and construction.

The Role: Bridge Design and Reality

You won't be trapped drawing CAD details all day. You are the owner's representative connecting architects, interior designers, senior developers, and general contractors.

• Drive the Vision: Lead architectural design and pre-construction workstreams from concept through construction documentation.


• Manage Top Talent: Select, negotiate, and direct world-class external architectural and engineering consultants.


• Protect Quality & Budget: Review design phases (SD, DD, CD) to ensure constructability, elegance, and financial alignment without sacrificing design intent.

What It Takes to Lead Here

• The Background: 7+ years in an architectural firm or owner-side development group managing complex, large-scale projects. (Commercial, healthcare, hotel, or high-end residential experience is a major plus).


• The Edge: Bachelor of Architecture or related degree required (Licensed Architect preferred); ability to see the big picture and navigate complex entitlements.


• The Ownership Mindset: A proactive coordinator who thrives in a collaborative, nimble team environment.
