Job summary

Ore Designs, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Sales Engineer to lead landmark projects and drive basis-of-design specifications across the US. This role emphasizes long-cycle, relationship-driven sales from design phase through award, coordinating with landscape architects and GC partners.

You will collaborate with internal teams (Design Development, CAD, Estimating) and external stakeholders to ensure our systems are specified and integrated, with travel as needed and a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in specification sales within landscape architecture or related building products.
• Deep connections with landscape architects, architectural firms, GCs and subcontractors.
• Experience moving products through design → bid → award cycles.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings and coordinate with internal teams.
• Familiarity with IBC, wind load requirements and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Influence architects/landscape architects to specify our systems in design documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams for technical guidance on attachment, wind uplift and load performance.
• Collaborate on project drawings and pricing with Estimating and Design Development.
• Manage long sales cycles and shepherd projects through design development to award.
• Build relationships with architect–GC–subcontractor triad and track via CRM.
• Deliver presentations and drive revenue targets.
