Job summary

Wisconsin Nursery and Landscape Association is seeking a Sales Designer to join our team full-time and year-round, focusing on landscape and irrigation design and sales with opportunities to contribute to seasonal services.

You’ll meet with prospective clients to design and sell custom landscape projects, manage budgets and client vision, and maintain ongoing communication with customers, vendors, and team members. Some remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of landscape design and the green industry.
• 2- or 4-year degree in turf/ horticulture or related field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems preferred.
• Experience with landscape design and estimating software.
• Experience in landscape installations or snow management is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective clients to design and sell landscape and irrigation projects.
• Ensure every customer experience is exceptional.
• Work within budgets while delivering on client goals and vision.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure project success.
• Bid and secure new accounts and contracts.
• Assist seasonally in snow removal and Christmas production.
