Job summary

GFT in New York City is seeking an Architectural Building Assessor to join our NYC team. The role performs on-site condition assessments of architectural systems in large facility portfolios, documenting findings with notes and photos.

The position is hourly, as-needed with travel across the five boroughs; you will coordinate with mechanical/electrical assessors and use SharePoint and field data tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field experience evaluating architectural systems.
• License or equivalent credential/experience in architecture.
• Willingness to travel across NYC boroughs for field assessments.

Responsibilities

• Visually assess architectural systems and identify deficiencies.
• Document findings with detailed notes and photos.
• Coordinate with mechanical/electrical assessors for complete building-level narratives.
• Capture data using field apps and SharePoint; support QA/QC and reporting.
