Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking an Architectural Designer II to join our design team in a collaborative office setting. You will independently perform architectural assignments for medium to large projects, contributing to design development, documentation, and coordination with project teams.

Qualified candidates have a NAAB-accredited degree (B.Arch or M.Arch), 6+ years of related experience, and proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Enscape, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Cloud;

Qualifications

• NAAB-accredited architecture degree required for the role.
• 6+ years of related architecture experience.
• Proficiency with CAD/3D software including Revit, Rhino, Enscape, AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced architectural concepts to develop quality design solutions.
• Prepare drawings and construction documents per codes and standards.
• Develop models, drawings, and visualizations to support deliverables.
• Coordinate architectural specifications with construction documents.
• Conduct code research to inform design decisions and coordination.
• Assist in client meetings and documentation follow-up.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and growth.
