Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks an Architectural Designer II to join a collaborative team delivering high-quality design across multiple project sizes. You will develop drawings, models, and construction documents using Revit, Rhino, Enscape, and Adobe CC, while coordinating with teams and supporting design development.

The role requires a NAAB-accredited degree and 6+ years of experience, with strong CAD skills and knowledge of codes. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an NAAB-accredited Architecture program.
• 6+ years of related architecture experience.
• Proficient with CAD and graphic software listed (Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe CC, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of codes, sustainability requirements, and BIM.
• Willingness to travel and pursue professional licensure.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced architectural concepts to develop design solutions.
• Prepare drawings and construction documents per standards and codes.
• Utilize Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe CC to create drawings, models, and visuals.
• Coordinate specifications to align with construction documents.
• Conduct code research to inform design decisions and documentation.
• Assist in client presentations and meeting follow-up tasks.
• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy and documentation quality.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to professional growth.
• Travel to JMT locations and project sites as needed.
