Job summary

Pella Corporation is seeking an Architectural Representative to build long-term relationships with architects, designers, and industry groups in the St. Louis area.

The role aims to increase project leads, favorable specifications, and high-volume sales growth through customer-facing activities and industry engagement. Ideal candidates have direct architectural experience or architectural sales background, excellent communication, and a strong building design aptitude.

Qualifications

• Direct architecture or architectural sales experience (min 5 years).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices.
• AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, promote and advance the visibility and presence of the entire Pella product & service offerings within the architecture and design community.
• Actively pursues new architect and designer account prospects as well as project leads on a weekly basis.
• Continually develop in-depth knowledge of architectural and design concepts, construction practices and building codes.
• Effectively present Pella product demonstrations, and continuing education courses to large or small groups.
• Accurately read, interpret, take-off, blueprints.
• Possess a working knowledge of window and door installation systems and the ability to communicate through drawing and specification writing.
• Has a working knowledge of building science concepts common to the architecture and design community.
• Active involvement in AIA, CSI, HBA and other relevant industry associations and events.
• Utilize assigned lead services and CRM to collect and manage account and project information (leads, activities, project information, etc.).
• Coordinate project quoting and project management within the Pella systems.
• Represent Pella in a professional, competent manner, in keeping with the high ethical and cultural standards of the organization.
• Collaborate with all team members in support of Pella’s corporate culture.
• Identify and develop a focused target list of architect and designer prospects to accelerate sales teams’ quoting activity.
