Job summary

Morris Adjmi Architects is seeking a talented Interior Designer II / Interior Architect II to join our growing Interiors team. The role balances design creativity with technical execution across a diverse portfolio of projects.

You will collaborate with senior leadership and contribute from concept through construction documentation and administration. Ideal candidates bring a professional degree, 6+ years of experience, and licensing if applying as Interior Architect II.

Qualifications

• Professional degree required in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
• 6+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Architecture license required for Interior Architect II applications.
• NCIDQ, AIA, LEED or related accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of interior design projects from concept to construction administration.
• Develop design concepts, space planning solutions, material palettes, and FF&E selections.
• Prepare client presentations, renderings, finish boards, and presentation materials.
• Produce and coordinate DD and CD with increasing independence.
• Coordinate schedules for finishes, fixtures, and hardware.
• Coordinate drawings with architecture, engineering, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and shop drawing reviews.
• Review drawings for quality and MA standards.
• Participate in client meetings and coordination meetings.
